The Ontario PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association is a group for nurses dedicated to providing excellence in the PeriAnesthesia area of practice. This includes freestanding clinics as well as Day Surgery, PreAdmission, Endoscopy, Dental and Post Anesthetic units. This association encourages educational opportunities and to this end arranges an annual conference each year in a different province. Nurses from across Ontario and beyond have the opportunity to enhance their practice, knowledge and clinical skills.

On the weekend of October 23, 24, 2010 the Ontario PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association (OPANA) is hosting their Annual Conference and 25th Anniversary Celebration at the Sheraton Centre Hotel, 123 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario.  This venue provides us with a ballroom that holds 500 guests and a large exhibit space for over 50 exhibitors. The exhibits are usually held only on the Saturday, this year on October 23, 2010, making your time commitment much more focused.

Last year, there was an attendance of over 250 perianesthesia nurses, physicians, speakers and exhibitors. This year, we anticipate another large crowd, as the program outline is near completion and consists of another number of world-renowned speakers and well-known leaders in areas of health care and perianesthesia patient care. This conference will be an excellent way for your company or institution to increase exposure to a large crowd of health care professionals while supporting a group of professionals who value your product.  Sponsors and exhibitors are invited to participate in all conference sessions and meals.
